Tule Springs Fossil Beds National Monument is dedicated to preserving paleontological discoveries from the Ice Age and offers unspoiled wilderness where ancient fossils have been found. The park represents the period from 3,000 years ago to over 200,000 years in the past.

The parkland is just north of Las Vegas and is rich with fossils, from mammoths to extinct species of bison, horses, and dire wolves. It's a relatively new park, which means it's still something of a hidden gem of the Las Vegas region. The park and its grounds appeal to fans of palaeontology and outdoor adventurers alike.
